Mō te tūnga | About the role
This role is based in the Medical Progressive Care unit at Christchurch Hospital. The ward is a 14 bed General Medical ward that specialises in the management of people unwell with acute medical conditions.
The roles;
- 1x Permanent part-time 0.9FTE
- 1x Fixed term part-time 0.9FTE covering parental leave commencing 19th June 2023 for 12 months.

In this busy acute environment, you - ll need excellent assessment and time management skills. Your excellent communications skills will be pivotal to your success in this role as you will be engaging and educating patients and their families to ensure the best possible outcome
You will have demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals. The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused. We will provide you with a thorough orientation package and ongoing support to develop the skills required to work in this exciting specialty. We are also committed to enable you to keep developing your nursing career, with an abundance of professional development opportunities available to you.

- Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC
