Permanent part-time positions available (0.4FTE to 0.9 FTE) working mainly, but not exclusively, PM and night shifts.

The CCDM/VRM permanent resource pool team play an important role in responding to the acute needs of the wards and departments and requires you to practice both independently and in collaboration with your nursing colleagues and other health professionals to assess consumers health needs. You will utilise your advanced knowledge and experience in general surgical/medical/acute care nursing to provide quality care, advice and support consumers to manage their own health.
As we continue to grow our team, to meet service needs, we have positions available working between 0.4FTE and 0.9FTE. (I.E. 32 to 72 hours a fortnight.) These positions will predominantly, but not exclusively, work afternoon and night shifts across a variety of wards/units at Nelson Hospital.

You will have current NZNC registration and a practising certificate and will be a vibrant and enthusiastic registered nurse or enrolled nurse with at least 2 years post-registration general surgical / medical / acute care nursing experience. It will be important that you have a commitment to providing a quality service and being part of a high performing team. You will have excellent organisational and time management skills and will enjoy keeping up to date with clinical practice.
Te Whatu Ora staff must have completed their primary course of two NZ approved COVID-19 vaccines.

The full-time equivalent salary range if:
- a RN is appointed, is $72,061 through to $95,340
- an EN is appointed, is $61,146 to $73,609
based on the current NZNO Nursing and Midwifery MECA, dependent on skills, experience and registration in NZ.
