Our physiotherapy department has well-equipped treatment areas including a gym and hydrotherapy pool, and is situated within an Allied Health Hub. Clinical inpatient areas include surgical, orthopaedics, medical and rehabilitation wards with in-reach to paediatrics and the emergency department. This role is predominately based in our busy outpatient department with opportunity for a wide variety of musculoskeletal individual and group opportunities, as well as neurological conditions and community work. We aim to support therapists to work within their areas of interest with plenty of opportunity for an interesting and varied workload.
You will be working as part of an inter-disciplinary team providing quality assessment, intervention, advice and discharge planning through a patient-centred approach. The role requires you to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm and you - ll be required to participate in the on-call roster at weekends.
The salary for this position is within the range of $59,035 to $85,992 (Steps 1 to 8) of the Allied, Public Health, Scientific & Technical MECA.

You will be a NZ Registered Physiotherapist with comprehensive clinical assessment and problem-solving skills with the experience and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively. You will have excellent communication skills to liaise with health professionals and health agencies.
