Right now, we're seeking a talented Data Analyst to join the People & Workforce Workstream.
The People & Workforce Workstream is responsible for planning and delivery of staff transfer from local government organisations and recruitment to the new Water Service Entities (WSE), as well as for the organizational design of the WSE and employment relations requirements of the change process.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for analysing, reporting, and administering data to support workstream activities. You'll be working with People & Workforce data to provide insights, contribute to data collation, modelling, reporting and identifying any data limitations to support design and implementation activities. This role also acts as the database administrator to support digital tools across the P&W workstream, including the Staff Room which is used to connect with and inform staff transitioning to the new WSEs.
If you have the following skills and experience, then please apply:'
- It goes without saying you'll have excellent data interpretation and analytical skills.
- You'll be experienced undertaking qualitative and quantitative research, data collation and analysis.
- You'll have strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy working collaboratively with stakeholders and colleagues.
- You'll bring advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using database management systems.
- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or similar) or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data analysis.

This is a fixed term role currently scheduled to run through to June 2024
Location: Auckland preferable but open to candidates from other locations.
