Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced individual to join the team that provides front-line application and integration support to over 2,000 users within Te Whatu Ora, Waikato. The FPIM Oracle solution is our ERP system supporting Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain functions (FPIM). With your knowledge and expertise, you’ll be analysing requests from business users to resolve system issues and make ongoing improvements to the solution in line with business needs. This involves reviewing data to detect errors or exceptions, identifying resolutions and implementing appropriate corrections.
This is a very hands-on role and has the opportunity to combine analytical thinking with technical skills required to develop and support the system configurations and enhancements. You will be comfortable working with business users to determine the most appropriate configurations that cater to their requirements. You’ll also need to be someone that actively looks for improvement opportunities that help enable the business processes to be as efficient and effective as they can be.
You will be responsible for monitoring system activities as well as providing first line resolution for any Te Whatu Ora, Waikato process or data anomalies. You will also be responsible for ensuring that any changes to the system are appropriately designed and tested, as well as support documentation updates for the solution enhancements or changes.

As a critical thinker you will support the finance and supply chain teams resolve system challenges and propose improvements. You will have a sound understanding of ERP systems with a relevant tertiary qualification and/or work experience.
Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

Applicable tertiary or professional qualification in Information Systems or 5+ years’ experience in lieu of such qualification

3+ years in a technical support role for an ERP system in addition to an Information Systems qualification or 5+ years in a technical support role for an ERP system if no relevant education qualification

Expertise in information management practices

Functional knowledge of finance, procurement and supply chain ERP system

Competency in data analysis
