Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service

You will be working with a team of senior clinicians, including an endocrinologist, nurse practitioner, psychologist, and dietitian who provide care to patients with diabetes in partnership with general practice, and at times within the secondary care environment.  At Waikato Hospital there are currently seven part time clinicians working in the service making a total of 2.55 FTE.  The service includes Adult Weight Management services, Diabetes in Pregnancy services, Youth and Young Adults services and an Insulin Pump Team in addition to an inpatient team.

 

Mōu | About you

You will need to have registered or be eligible for registration with the New Zealand Medical Council, completed the FRACP written and clinical examinations (or equivalent) and completed basic training requirements.
