Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Te Whatu Ora Taranaki is seeking the services of a booking administrator to work in our department at Taranaki Base Hospital.  You would be working as part of a dynamic team with 3 positions available with varying FTE.

The role involves managing the radiology waiting lists for General Xray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional modalities.

We are looking for applicants with outstanding communication skills and proven commitment to quality and accuracy.  You must be a dedicated team player with a willingness to learn new skills.

Moū - About you

The successful applicants will have extensive healthcare experience and previous knowledge in Radiology systems will be an advantage, experience in a relevant administration role would be preferred, along with a sound knowledge of medical terminology.

Our busy department requires someone who has a caring nature and can react effectively in a changing environment.  There is a requirement for excellent time management skills, initiative and flexibility and you must have the ability to show diplomacy and tact and support our patients through their Radiology journey.

Relevant healthcare scheduling experience is highly desirable.
