Ngā Tapuwae Kōrero is the Agile Release Train focused on protecting our levy revenue stream and driving better business customer outcomes and experience by building on and improving core levy systems and products. Doing this means we can improve the way we do business and enables us to provide more digital services for our business customers.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in Business Partnerships as part of the Ngā Tapuwae Kōrero Agile Release Train. As Product Owner you will be responsible for leading and delivering continuous improvement and the development of our products and service offering to enable the delivery of an exceptional user experience and customer outcomes. You will represent the voice of the business and customer to ensure we deliver excellent outcomes.
As Product Owner, you will be fully immersed within an Agile environment on a day-to-day basis. The work environment is fast paced, with high impact decisions and diverse interactions.
Key responsibilities of the role and what you need to be successful:
- You will have experience as a Product Owner or relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with business customers.
- A solid background in Agile ways of working, with a solid understanding of product delivery practice.
- A customer-centric mind-set, focusing on delivering the best possible outcomes for our customers.
- Participate and lead product ownership efforts to meet product development objectives
- High level of collaboration, and ability to enable the delivery of strategy through Agile practices.
- You will be an effective influencer and have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.

We offer an attractive salary of $114k to $140k depending on experience, plus 9% super is on offer, along with an opportunity to grow and develop your career in one of New Zealand's leading government agencies.
