As our System Manager - LowerSouth Island, you will provide effective leadership to working with key partners, to manage and maintain the road network in line with customer levels of service to provide Waka Kotahi customers with a seamless experience on the transport system.

As our successful System Manager, you'll be an authentic leader with the ability to build and develop an engaged, integrated and achieving team culture focused on delivering optimal outcomes.
You'll also be an effective communicator, influencer, collaborator and, most importantly, able to inspire and motivate people to constantly deliver their best, every day.
As our System Manager, you'll also bring with you:
- Experience within transport network systems and standards including an understanding of New Zealand land transport and resource management legislation is preferred
- Sound commercial experience
- In-depth experience in working across the full delivery lifecycle
- Proven ability to manage and deliver in a changing and pressured environment
- Understanding of end-to-end infrastructure management practices including asset management, performance management and physical delivery would be beneficial.
