Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
The purpose of this role is to support and advance the use of financial systems across the organisation. You will help improve our organisational decision-making through ensuring reliable and accurate information is captured, and can be accessed and interpreted through system-based reports. You will work with finance and the wider business to ensure processes are efficient and effective; and information is accurate and easy to understand.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience working as a Systems Accountant or similar
- Analytical mindset
- Experience and subject matter expertise in complex financial management processes and financial systems
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Be fluent in assessing the risk of change on ERP systems and financial processes
- Able to identify and recognise benefits of improvement opportunities
- Great work ethic and team spirit
- Can-do attitude and self-motivated
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
