Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
The purpose of this role is to support and advance the use of financial systems across the organisation. You will help improve our organisational decision-making through ensuring reliable and accurate information is captured, and can be accessed and interpreted through system-based reports. You will work with finance and the wider business to ensure processes are efficient and effective; and information is accurate and easy to understand.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous experience working as a Systems Accountant or similar
Experience and subject matter expertise in complex financial management processes and financial systems
Experience working with ERP systems
Be fluent in assessing the risk of change on ERP systems and financial processes
Able to identify and recognise benefits of improvement opportunities
Great work ethic and team spirit
Can-do attitude and self-motivated
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
