Come at work at Te Whatu Ora Waikato in Pharmacy on Meade within the Waikato hospital campus. A fantastic and exciting opportunity for a pharmacy technician keen for a change and a slower pace of work, where your excellent skills and leadership will be recognised.
If you are a New Zealand registered technician with community pharmacy experience, PACT qualified and ideally with vaccinator and retail experience, then we want you! You will have a strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills and love working as part of a team.
On that note, you will also be working as part of a larger pharmacy team also, in particularly supporting your other Senior Pharmacy technician colleagues, so will get to know and contribute your knowledge to other parts of the pharmacy service also. A great role for someone keen to develop their leadership capabilities. Remuneration will sit on the pharmacy technician advanced, designated position scale (steps 6 – 8) to reflect these additional responsibilities.

Ideally seeking an experienced pharmacy technician (level 5 or 6) to join our Pharmacy Service for this senior role. This position has been put in place to predominantly assist our community pharmacists to lead our community pharmacy service, be a senior member of our team and contribute to the ongoing operation of the hospital based community pharmacy.
