The remuneration range for this role is $66,570 to $95,340 and is covered by the collective agreement: NZNO Nursing MECA

An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Registered Nurse and join our team in Intensive and Coronary Care unit at Gisborne Hospital. Our combined ICU/CCU is a six bed acute and elective unit that provides intensive, coronary and high dependency care to the people of the Tairāwhiti region. In this stimulating and sometimes challenging environment, you will be part of a dedicated nursing team and have the ability to enhance your nursing skills. About the role:

·         Full or part time, permanent positions

·         FTE can be negotiated

About you:

Previous ICU/CCU nursing experience is desirable. It is preferable that you have a minimum of five years of recent acute nursing, or significant ICU experience. The role will involve full internal rotation onto night shifts. You will have well-developed acute care clinical skills and will value working collaboratively as a proactive and supportive team member, focused on achieving optimum health outcomes for patients requiring Intensive Care/Coronary Care/High Dependency services.

You will also demonstrate:

·         Adaptability in a dynamic rapidly changing work environment.

·         Willingness to share professional knowledge and skills within the Intensive/Coronary Care team
