Are you looking for a laboratory scientist role that does not have shifts?
Point of Care testing includes all of Waitematā District sites, 20 rural GP sites and Real Time Temperature Monitoring.
Waitematā has an opportunity for a Qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist with a current Annual Practising Certificate who is happy to experience hospital care in action.
This role involves travel, including on a small plane to Great Barrier Island and by car to rural GP sites, hence a full NZ drivers licence is required.
No day is the same, requiring the successful candidate to have excellent critical thinking and trouble shooting skills.
Being outgoing, flexible and whizz on the keyboard will be an advantage.
Full training will be provided and you will work in a small, supportive team.
