Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses to work in Ward 14 (M14), the surgical ward for our Cardiology, Cardiothoracic and Vascular (CCTV) cluster. We provide care for patients throughout the Midlands Region, requiring cardiothoracic and vascular surgery. This is one of the largest wards in the hospital with 32 beds. This is a great opportunity to work in a progressive and dynamic environment, which values and supports its team members and their contributions. Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
-
Surgical Nursing Experience, preferably in Cardio & Vascular surgery

Current Annual Practicing Certificate
-
A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an acute care environment in Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand

Excellent time management and communication skills
-
Must be able to work rostered shifts, which includes nights and weekends
