The opportunity:
We are currently seeking applications from motivated pharmacists, ideally with experience in the clinical setting. We have established a range of roles suitable for different levels of experience, skillsets and specialisation, including utilisation of the prescriber scope.

Successful applicants must be:
- Eligible to work in NZ
- New Zealand registered pharmacist with current APC or eligibility to obtain one
- Able to work flexible hours and participate in our oncall, weekend and extended hours rosters

Located in South Auckland, Middlemore Hospital is the largest tertiary hospital operated by Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand. We serve the diverse and often high needs population of Counties Manukau district, which stretches across Otahuhu to Port Waikato.

With a talented team of almost 50 clinical pharmacists, we provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatient areas spanning across Medicine, Surgery (including National Burns Centre & Spinal Unit), Older People’s Health & Rehabilitation, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Women’s & Children’s Health, Mental Health, Infectious Diseases & Antimicrobial Stewardship, Palliative Care, Complex Pain, Refugee Health and Medicines Information.
