Rotational Occupational Therapist (Full Time) Acute Allied Health at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Counties Manukau, Auckland

Remuneration as per PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines (between step 1 $58,513 - 8 $85,204)

The Opportunity:

Gain valuable real-life experience & insights through the role of Rotational Occupational Therapist. You will join our annual rotations through five specialist areas including; Spinal Unit, National Burns Unit, Community Services, Acute Stroke/Adult Rehabilitation & Hand Therapy. Come and join our supportive team, providing neurological speciality of acute/rehab stroke and neurological conditions. Our therapists cover inpatient acute and rehabilitation wards for people with decreased occupational performance following conditions such as stroke, amputation, falls, fractures, and deconditioning.

Essential:

  • NZ Registered Occupational Therapist with a current practising certificate
  • Enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
  • Excellent inter-professional communication
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse range of clients
  • Full current NZ driver's licence
