Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are looking for Registered Nurses keen to take on an exciting development opportunity with the Registered Nurse Assistant (RNAA) programme.
This position works within a dynamic team of skilled Anaesthetic Technicians and RNAAs alongside an anaesthetist. Your development will be guided by a comprehensive competency based learning framework.
We have two programmes available, Bridging Programme for RNs who have worked in Anaesthesia Units and RNAA Trainee Programme for RNs who are looking to extend into the theatre anaesthesia environment.

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
-
Current NZ Practising Certificate
-
At least 3 years’ hospital experience in ICU/ED/HDU however consideration will be given to those with experience in working with complex patients with high needs (including airway management)

Ability to work rotating roster

Commitment to completion of Training Programme
Experience across critical and high acuity clinical areas is desirable.
