Ward HG - Spinal Unit

Ko wai koe | About You

Ward HG - The spinal Unit is a purpose built facility caring for patients with spinal cord injuries.

It is one of two Spinal Units located with in New Zealand providing specialised care for patients with these injuries.

Professional development is supported and you will have opportunities to attend training. If you - re a motivated and enthusiastic Enrolled Nurse, with at least one year - s post graduate medical or surgical experience we would love to hear from you.

Burwood Hospital is a close-knit, friendly facility that forms part of Te Whatu Ora - Waitaha, Canterbury situated near Burwood Forest on the outskirts of Christchurch Central.  Along with 11 inpatient wards, we also have a busy Out Patient Department; 4 theatres with an Admitting Unit and PACU. Our Spinal Unit is one of two located in New Zealand and between the two busy units deliver a National Service.
