1 FTE MOSS/Research Fellow, 1 year fixed-term starting 1 February 2024

Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau District is a dynamic and progressive organisation at the forefront of innovative health delivery, working with New Zealand’s most culturally diverse population.  The primary hospital for our district is Middlemore Hospital, an 800-bed teaching hospital providing medical and surgical care to a diverse and rapidly growing population of approximately 600,000 people.

An active clinical trial portfolio is run in collaboration with Aotearoa Clinical Trials.

We are seeking an enthusiastic MOSS, newly qualified haematologist or senior advanced trainee to join our existing team of 7 haematologists. This position includes 0.5 FTE for dedicated clinical trial research and a key component of the role is advancing clinical research practice within the department.  The role is considered non-core for FRACP/FRCPA training.

You’ll be part of our established team and supported by a professional team of nursing, allied health, and scientific staff.   Applicants should ideally be Fellows of the Royal College of Physicians of Australasia and eligible for Vocational Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or completing their advanced training in haematology.
