Te Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti is a secondary care facility situated on the East Coast, comprising of urban and rural communities covering a large area, and serves a population of approximately 48,000. Gisborne’s relative isolation is it's charm; however larger cities are only a quick flight away. The Hospital is located within a 5 minute drive of the town centre on the fringe of Gisborne City.
We provide a comprehensive range of services in our 110 bed hospital, which includes:
- Neonatal
- ICU/CCU
- Medical/Surgical
- Orthopaedic/Rehabilitation
- Paediatrics
- Midwifery
- Long Term Conditions
- Mental Health
- Emergency
- Theatre
- Casual Pool
To support the above services, we are offering energetic Health Care Assistants opportunities in ALL areas.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Level 3 NZQA Certificate in Health & Wellbeing
- Sound oral and written communication skills
- An understanding and respect for patient confidentiality is essential.
The remuneration range for this role is $51,770 - $61,540 and is covered by the collective agreement: NZNO MECA (2 Aug 2020 – 31 Oct 2022)
All successful candidates will be subject to a police screen.
