Clinical Lead for Adverse Event Reviews (AER) Mental Health and Addictions
- 0.5 FTE / Fixed term for 12 months

- This role will help to lead our learning for improvement across MH&A with a focus on strengthening tangata whaiora and whānau safety and engagement.
- Participate as an integral member and lead Adverse Event Review teams
- The role will drive the sharing of, learning from and service improvement implementation of review findings and recommendations.
MECA - this is required for positions where an overseas applicant could apply/be appointed (if the role isn - t on the Immigration NZ Green List.

- We are looking for a person in
this role who is committed to learning for improvement. They will have a post
graduate qualification in clinical mental health and addicitons health role or
equivalent and have experience in working in mental health and addictions setting.
- The role requires a high
standard of report-writing skills, strong ability to lead and coordinate a team
of health professionals and are comfortable supporting distressed tangata
whaiora and/or whānau.
- It is important to have a broad
understanding of mental health systems and clinical practice, an understanding
of Quality and Health, Safety and Wellbeing systems and standards and experience
or training and interest in restorative practices.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
