We are looking for a night shift telephone operator for our busy call centre at Nelson Hospital.
This is a diverse role with plenty of variety and would appeal to someone who enjoys a challenge and job satisfaction. Key duties include answering the phone, after-hours reception duties, interacting with the public and dealing with emergency situations.
Shift:
- 11.00PM to 7.00AM Sunday, Monday & Tuesday
Ideally you will have the flexibility to work additional shifts, from time-to-time, covering staff leave and illness.

To succeed in this role you will have a bright, friendly and outgoing personality with great interpersonal skills and a strong customer service focus. You will be highly organised and efficient with the ability to multitask and remain clam under pressure.
We expect intermediate computer skills, ideally with PC based switchboard experience. However, we will consider applications from those without switchboard experience, where an aptitude for this type of work can be demonstrated, as full training will be given.
