Associate Clinical Nurse Manager

An exciting new opportunity to join our team at Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti, Gisborne Hospital has become available, with three full time posts within our Medical and Surgical Wards.

 

These roles will see you providing operational management, and day to day clinical leadership across the ward.

 

Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, and strongly supported by a tight knit team, you’ll foster a culture within the unit that continues to strive for excellence in clinical services, and focuses on patient centred care. Key accountabilities of this role include; operational leadership, staff education, development and recruitment, quality and risk management.

 

Operationally you will turn your hand to supervision, mentoring, and ensure patient care is delivered based on contemporary practice, that is consumer focused and aligns with our Waka Values.

 

The remuneration range for this role is $101, 089 to $111, 695 and is covered by the District Health Boards / NZNO Nursing and Midwifery Multi-Employer Collective Agreement 1 August 2020 – 31 October 2022.

 

 

Moū - About you

You’ll be a senior registered nurse with significant nursing experience, possess a current NZ APC and relevant post graduate qualifications or working towards relevant post graduate qualifications at a minimum of a Post Grad Diploma, and your proven success in nursing leadership will be complemented by your knowledge of, and experience in, clinical quality, safety and best practice.
