If you are self-motivated and enthusiastic about Children’s Oral Health here is an extraordinary opportunity to become part of New Zealand's largest dental service as a Dental Assistant.
Auckland Regional Dental Service (ARDS) is a community dental service run by Waitemata District Health Board. We provide free dental care to children aged 0-18 years who live in East, Central and South Auckland. We have many clinics located in schools and in the community, and also provide care in our diagnostic and treatment vans. You can look forward to the chance to progress within our forward thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our service in the C3 team which primarily covers the Glen Innes, Mt Wellington, Otahuhu, Point England and Stonefields areas.
The role is suitable for school leavers and those looking to return to workforce.
We provide full training towards the role, so prior experience in dental services is not a necessity. All we ask is that you have a passion for:

- Working in a high functioning team with motivated individuals
- Learning new skills and challenging yourself
The salary range for this position is as per the PSA - Allied, Public Health and Technical Meca and is from $51,820 - $61,602 pending on experience.
The purpose of the Dental Assistant role is to:
- Support and assist dental therapists to provide an efficient customer focused service to clients
- Provide administrative support as required
