We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Digital whānau at Te Mana Rererangi Tūmatanui o Aotearoa I Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (CAA) and be part of a future thinking team moving to the next generation digital platforms and environments.
This role is an integral part of our Digital Team, responsible for successful delivery of our digital/ICT maintenance investment portfolio, programmes and projects The Project Manager will work alongside another PM, both will be accountable for developing a new framework and managing a multifaceted project, or projects, from concept through implementation and post-implementation review.
This is a permanent full-time position based in Wellington and the salary band for this position goes from $112,171-$156,711 with the mid-range being $131,259 per annum. Starting salaries will be based on the knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader Authority for the same or similar roles.

Here’s the broader responsibilities you’ll deliver:
- Manage projects or programmes that may span across multiple Groups.
- Provide coaching and supporting team members to meet project goals and milestones.
- Manage the full project life cycle ownership, from initiation to deployment, for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
- Managing customers and stakeholder expectations
- Managing project budgets.

- 3+ years of project management experience, preferably technology projects
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Good leadership skills; you will be able to influence, persuade and communication at all levels
- Be an excellent team player who is inclusive, collaborative, supportive and a great mentor.
- It really takes a can-do, will-do attitude to do this role.
