Come and be part of our skilled and friendly therapy team in our acute neuro/medical ward. Working in partnership with whai ora, whānau, and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will provide high quality, person-centred assessment and therapy. You will bring creative solutions to complex situations. You will support and guide rotational physiotherapists and students, and be actively involved in ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the ward.
You will be part of a diverse and supportive wider team of acute and subacute physiotherapists. We value continued professional development, mentoring, supervision and on-going training. You will have access to regular inservice training, special interest working groups, and learning opportunities to develop your clinical and leadership skills. We also have a Physiotherapy Professional Lead to support your growth and promote the physiotherapy service throughout our hospital.
We are looking for a Physiotherapist who has:
· Bachelor of Physiotherapy, or equivalent.
· New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist with current annual practising certificate (APC).
· Minimum of 2 years clinical experience - preferably some time in acute neuro/medical.
