We are currently seeking Maternity leave cover for Manager, Triage & Allocation to join our Immigration Investigations and Compliance branch. Reporting to the General Manager, you will have the opportunity to influence the strategic direction of the team and in a newly created branch. You will also influence and advocate for the national triage, prioritisation, allocation, and support functions for INZ compliance and investigations services.
In this role, you will need to establish a positive and a consultative working relationship with key stakeholders based across the motu to embed and maintain a centralised, tasking and analysis processes to deliver both strategic objectives and robust operational activity.
As a Manager, Triage & Allocation, you will need to be comfortable working with ambiguity and be able to develop a team culture of continuous improvement and the simplification of work processes in a complex environment. Specifically, the functions of this position are to exercise a strong operational focus with a range of leadership and management responsibilities.

Skills and Experience Required
- Proven operational management experience within a customer focused environment
- Proven ability to manage, lead and mentor others to achieve results and professional growth
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Strong action orientations and proven ability to drive results in an environment with multiple priorities
- Proven experience in managing operational issues and the ability to mitigate negotiate shared resource outcome effectively
- Demonstrated ability to develop project plans and identify resource requirements
- Experience working with data and data management systems, to ensure robust data collection guidelines, data integrity and operational reporting.
- Experience working with triaging and prioritisation of operational work activity and evidence-based triage and allocation decisions
- An understanding of system risk management and strategic purpose
