We are seeking an experienced people leader with vision and influence to help drive a strong, successful and connected digital public sector.
The Digital Public Service Branch works across the public service to connect, influence and support the system to take advantage of new digital opportunities. It also supports the Government Chief Digital Officer (GCDO) to drive the government's digital transformation and position government to succeed in a changing and evolving digital age.
The Commercial Manager is an enabling position, providing guidance and advice across all of government contracts managed by the All of Government Services Delivery Group including Framework Agreements and the Marketplace.
This role requires someone with commercial knowledge, good understanding of contract management, contract changes and the ability to provide pragmatic commercial advice. However, we are also interested in recent graduates, including those with a background in law, who are willing to take their first step into commercial management.
This role involves supporting significant contract negotiations with third party digital service suppliers, with a view of delivering long term commercial solutions for all of government, that strongly demonstrates enduring public value.
