Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

Te Puriri o Te Ora - Auckland’s Regional Cancer and Blood Service based at Auckland City Hospital is the leading provider of cancer care in the Auckland region, serving a large and varied population of around 1.7 million people. You will be joining a busy, dynamic and diverse team of clinical research professionals who strive to ensure that novel therapies and clinical trials are available to our patient population both here in Auckland and across Aotearoa.

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Research Assistant to be part of a fast-growing research team, providing administrative support, finance tracking, and assisting with trial-specific research tasks. The role offers variety and challenge, with opportunities for learning and advancement. This is an ideal entry position for someone who is looking to pursue a career in clinical research. 

The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours per week), based at Te Toka Tumai Auckland City Hospital.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

The ideal applicant will have had recent experience in the health sector along with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. You will possess exceptional organisational skills and be able to use your initiative. The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a multidisciplinary team is essential as is a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
