Be part of the Finance Leadership team in these roles as you work closely with the Deputy CFO to contribute to strategic thinking around financial practices and ensure alignment with the direction of the agencies.
Manager Systems Accounting: Lead and manage the Systems Accounting team, ensuring efficient delivery of these services to GCSB and NZSIS. This includes responsibility for day-to-day operations of the agencies financial systems including design, implementation, maintenance and security. You will develop new financial systems and processes while improving existing ones.
- Significant experience in leading and motivating small teams
- Extensive experience working in Finance Information Systems
- Experience and a sound understanding of government processes and systems
- Demonstrated experience at leading system process change
Manager Financial Accounting: Lead and manage the Financial Accounting team; ensuring the efficient effective delivery of financial services to GCSB and NZSIS.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating a high performing financial services team, with the ability to coach and develop direct reports
- Post qualification experience, with at least 3 years in a senior finance role
- Demonstrated experience in a finance services team within the public or private sector and understanding of finance policies, principles and trends
- Sound NZ IPSAS knowledge and a familiarity with fixed asset accounting requirements and experience of FMIS systems
- Extensive experience in managing the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in line with Treasury reporting requirements
Manager Finance Business Partnering: Lead and manage the Finance Business Partnering team; providing effective delivery of Finance Business Partnering services to GCSB and NZSIS. This includes responsibility for leading the Business Partners/ Business Analyst. Provide financial information, metrics and insight, together with education and understanding to improve financial decision making within the agencies.
- Significant experience in leading and motivating high performing teams through change and driving service improvements
- Experience and a sound understanding of government processes and systems
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing Financial practices and processes

- Being a highly skilled and competent finance expert, with energy, initiative, and the ability to work constructively with others to drive complex initiatives forward.
- Having exceptional skills and experience in your area of expertise
- An ability to engage, inspire and influence people
