We have an exciting opportunity for a professional with clinical skills and proven experience in developing plans and coordinating casework as part of a multi-disciplinary team to join our Care Services team at Epuni.

Mō te tūnga | About the role
Epuni provides residential care to tamariki and rangatahi in community settings. We work to keep our young people connected to the positive influences in their lives - whānau, mentors, school, and community-based programmes. We support tamariki by upholding their mana, honouring their sense of self and their important connections and relationships; and upholding and supporting their right to heal, recover, and reach their potential.
As a Case Leader, you will report to the Team Leader Clinical Programmes and be accountable for the leadership and development of all aspects of a young person's care plan. This includes the interventions, programmes and steps needed to effectively address health needs, presenting behaviours, trauma impacts, and the therapeutic services each young person requires to support their healing and restoration to whānau or an alternative longer-term home.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
Your practice framework will require an understanding of:
- Child development and behavioural theories
- Trauma-informed care and attachment theory
- Child focused and creative behavioural intervention
Key requirements of the role include:
- A qualification in psychology, occupational therapy, education, social work, health or another related field is a prerequisite and registration with a professional body is essential
- A full, clean New Zealand driver's licence
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture

Annual remuneration for this position starts between $87,795.00 and $97105.00 dependant on experience.
