Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Waikato General Medicine service has seen considerable growth over the last 10 years and has the executive mandate and support to continue to grow.

Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified candidates for Advanced Training positions in General Medicine.  We are currently accredited for four Advanced Trainees in General Medicine.

Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service

General Medicine currently has nine inpatient teams working across the Acute Medical Unit and five homewards.

Mōu | About you

The required skills and experience you will need to be considered for this role are:

• General registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible to apply for Provisional General Registration.
• Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
