The Community Nursing Service has an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to work with the service as a District Nurse. This role is responsible for the provision of nursing care in the community environment. Nurses practicing at a competent or proficient level, as per Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Te Matau a Māui, Hawke’s Bay Professional Development and Recognition Programme, are invited to apply.
Ideally you would have previous experience working in a Community Nursing environment although applicants who have expertise in other aspects of nursing and who are practicing at this level, will be considered.
This is a full-time (or part-time) position, working Monday to Sunday from 0800-1630 hours. You will require an unendorsed driver’s license and will be required to work from both Napier and Hastings and various locations within primary care.
