Transcriptionist (full-time), Clinical Transcription Service, Te Whatu Ora at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Counties Manukau, Auckland

The successful applicant will be part of the Clinical Transcription Service, which provides medical transcriptionist support through Dictaphone typing for various Clinical Services.

If you have previous medical transcription experience, then this is a great opportunity. We will consider applicants who do not have a medical background, but have proven fast, accurate Dictaphone typing as it is very a busy, fast-paced environment. We offer an excellent training programme to ensure staff can work independently in a short time frame, and ongoing supports are provided for all employees.

Essential:

• Dictaphone typing experience 
• Minimum typing speed of 55wpm
• Intermediate level of MS Office Word & Outlook
• Awareness and understanding of patient confidentiality 
• High attention to detail 
• Ability to work under pressure

Desired:

• Hospital based medical transcription experience

The salary range is dependent on skills and experience and will be paid in line with the National Administration Collective agreement, which is between $63,627 to $67,984
