Position Description | Infant Maternal Mental Health Clinical Specialist
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Registered Health Professional to join our team where a strong emphasis on Family/whanau supports underpins all we do.
The Infant Maternal Mental Health Clinical Specialists is expected to work closely with whaiora, whanau/family and community groups enabling seamless service delivery across the continuum of care.
These groups include Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti Maternity Unit, Midwives, Plunket, Mama Pēpē services and other agencies supporting perinatal whanau/family and Pēpē /babies from 0 to 12 months of age.
You will be required to provide evidenced based therapeutic interventions and ongoing assessments, treatment to enable recovery for whanau of the Mental Health and Addiction Service.
You will be a champion to improving shared understanding of perinatal mental health and will have a valued input into shaping the service with set outcomes.
