Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
This is a role for a Senior Medical Officer who is currently undertaking Fellowship in the Certificate of Maternal and Fetal Medicine through RANZCOG. The role will be custom designed for the successful candidate taking into account the CMFM Handbook recommendations.
Duties include Fetal Medicine Clinics, Maternal Medicine Clinics and oncall duties.

The Maternal Fetal Medicine team is small team with a strong focus on the patient journey. They are in the forefront of optimising care for complex maternal and fetal patients. They have close relationships with their Neonatal Unit, Paediatric Surgical Department and Genetic Services which aid to optimise the outcome for the patients. There is a strong focus on collegial support and wellbeing.
This MFM Hub has been recognised nationally with it being awarded to host Wāhi Rua NZ Maternal and Fetal Medicine Network. The Network is a strategic service which advocates and promotes the MFM speciality nationally.
Moū - About you
- Vocationally registered in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
- FRANZCOG or equivalent qualification and be able to register for vocational registration with the MCNZ
- Must be enrolled in the CMFM RANZCOG Fellowship programme
- Relevant experience and training
