- Seeking experienced mental health professional (Social Worker and Clinical Psychologists) for our Practice Supervisor roles for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service directorate.
- The Practice Supervisor is an experienced mental health professional who provides a senior level intervention and expertise in both direct care delivery and support to other staff.
- Permanent full-time position comprising of 0.4 FTE Practice Supervisor and 0.6 FTE clinical work.
- Could consider part time – minimum of 0.8FTE (0.4 FTE Practice Supervisor / 0.4 FTE clinical work) for the right candidate.
Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are currently seeking one Social Worker and two Psychologist Practice Supervisors for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
The Practice Supervisor is an experienced mental health professional who provides a senior level intervention and expertise in both direct care delivery and support to other staff.
Practice Supervisors provide comprehensive assessment and outcome focussed innovative care, applying evidence-based practice, interventions and education within the area of specialty.
The Practice Supervisor is an experienced practitioner with responsibility for leading and contributing to quality and service improvements and development of team members and students as well as themselves. They contribute to the profession through the local application of contemporary, evidence-based practice and policy that contribute to developing, implementing and enhancing a high-quality service in the area.
Reporting to the Service Clinical Director, you will be part of the clinical leadership team for the service group. You will also work collaboratively with the Professional Lead.
As a key member of this professional, dedicated team you’ll be continually stimulated and challenged working with a diverse group of clients presenting a range of mental health needs. Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
- We welcome applications from experienced senior practitioners with a minimum of 5 years’ clinician experience
- You will need to be New Zealand registered with a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
- You will also have previous proven experience supervising, mentoring, and coaching.
