The purpose of this role is to support Community Allied Health Services, working in people - s homes to promote rehabilitation and health. Key elements of this role will include:
- assisting allied health professionals to deliver rehabilitation programmes within people - s homes.
- sourcing, delivering and set up of equipment to promote health, wellbeing and maintaining independence.
- plus, other tasks delegated by registered Allied Health professionals.

You will be flexible, an excellent communicator, a team player and have a good sense of humour. You will be committed to the principles of the Te Tiriti of Waitangi and achieving equity. This is a diverse role, and you will need the ability to think on your feet.
On the job training, supervision and support will be provided.

Qualifications
It - s essential that you have Year 11 - NCEA Level 1 English and Maths (or equivalent) and a current full driver - s licence.
The NZQA Level 3: New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing - Health Assistance Strand, if not previously obtained, is to be completed within 2 years of commencement.
