• Fixed Term part-time position available for a District Nurse
• Must be registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC;
• Be able to work well in a multidisciplinary team.

Mō te tūnga | About the role

In this role as a District Nurse, you will work both autonomously and in a team alongside other District Nurses. Based in Ashburton Hospital, this service operates in collaborative partnership with the both the hospital and wider community services.

• 0.6FTE fixed term position until February 2025 - covering parental leave

Ko wai koe | About You

The role will include, but is not limited to wounds, intravenous antibiotics and palliative care. Given the nature of the role you will be required to travel throughout the Mid Canterbury region caring for patients with a variety of nursing care needs.

• A NZ Registered Nurse with current Annual Practising Certificate.
