This is an exciting opportunity for an Equity Navigator to join the Outreach Screening Team within Te Whatu Ora, Te Matau a Māui Hawke’s Bay.
Working collaboratively with the Outreach Screening and Kauika Pūmau teams, the Equity Navigator will lead the response for increasing participation of Asian and high needs population groups in the national bowel screening programme in Hawke’s Bay.
As the Equity Navigator, you will provide health information, education and support for Asian and high needs people between 60–74 years of age. If you have previous experience in building and maintaining relationships with older people, with a positive attitude, along with a strong problem-solving focus and a passion for improving health inequities for their community then we want to hear from you.
This role provides an opportunity to support the community to stay well, increase your knowledge in population health and work in an enthusiastic and supportive team.
