Salary: $59,035 - $85,992 per annum
This role falls under the Allied, Scientific, and Technical workforce pay equity settlement and an increase in designated scales and banding will follow shortly
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated physiotherapist, with experience and an interest in inpatient acute care and rehabilitation.
This role is part of the inpatient physiotherapy team. It is a unique opportunity to work in a range of clinical areas and to be involved with patients across the continuum of care. Based primarily on the Medical ward and Coronary Care unit, the role will also provide cover across other clinical areas within the inpatient service. It is the opportunity to be part of a great team of physiotherapists and to work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.
If you enjoy variety, have excellent clinical skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team, then this may be the position for you.
This is a 1 year fixed term, part time position, 32 hours per week.
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
The Physiotherapy Department at Hutt Hospital provides physiotherapy services to patients/clients within the hospital and primary care setting. Services are provided on all of the inpatient wards including Medical Assessment and Planning Unit (MAPU) and Emergency Department (ED). Outpatient services are provided within the hospital or based in GP clinics.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Registration with the NZ Physiotherapy Board
- Current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Clinical experience in a hospital setting
- The ability to work well as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
