Salary: 59,035 - 85,992 per annum
This role falls under the Allied, Scientific, and Technical workforce pay equity settlement and an increase in designated scales and banding will follow shortly.
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our inpatient team, on the acute orthopaedic ward. This is a full time, permanent position. It is an opportunity to be part of a great team of physiotherapists and to work closely with the wider orthopaedic multidisciplinary team.
You will be working in primarily in an inpatient setting, however there is also the opportunity to provide physiotherapy services in the outpatient Fracture clinic setting. If you have experience in post-operative care, working in an acute setting and enjoy being part of a team, then this may be the position for you.
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
The Physiotherapy Department provides physiotherapy services to patients/clients within the hospital setting and in the community. Services are provided on all of the inpatient wards including Medical Assessment and Planning Unit (MAPU) and Emergency Department (ED). Outpatient and community services are provided within the Hospital, in outpatient clinics or within the patients/clients home.
Moū - About you
- Registration with the NZ Physiotherapy Board and current APC
- Good communication skills written and verbal with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied and busy caseload
- Experience in acute Inpatient care desirable
