Mō tō Mātou Rōpū – About Our Team
As part of the TPM Database services team you will be responsible for the management and support of the SQL Server database environments and reporting services

Te Whiwhinga Mahi| The Opportunity
Provide technical expertise and expert database services across designated Te Whatu Ora – HealthNZ database systems. You will work within a large Database Services Team and alongside other National DBA’s across the country involved in both local and national projects.
We will consider flexibility with regards to the role’s location, based on the location of our Te Whatu Ora offices.
Ngā Pūkenga me ngā Wheako – Skills & Experience
- 2+ Years’ experience in database technologies, Preferably MSSQL.
- Experience with database systems in Windows environments, including Multi-Cloud infrastructure
- Confident in your SQL scripting abilities
- Well versed with RDBMS operational best practice including database design, query design, database tuning, security and capacity management and planning
- Knowledge and experience supporting reporting services and data warehouse platforms (Preferred)
- Experience with hospital or health sector environments (Preferred)
