Te Whatu Ora Waitematā - Child, Women and Family has an opportunity for a Clinical Director of Women’s Health.

A core part of the role is providing clinical leadership within the service while establishing and maintaining effective relationships across the district and wider organisation

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing effective leadership across the Women’s health portfolio
• Leading the development and direction of the service
• Ensuring the delivery of high quality, equitable clinical practice and patient care through continuous quality improvement
• Providing professional direction, coaching and mentoring of medical staff and students
• Overseeing workforce planning and development
• Working with the operations manager to develop clinical metrics, improve clinical outcomes and ensure positive patient experience
• Dual responsibility with operations manager for the financial performance including expenditure and allocation of both operational and capital budget
