Registered Nurse Perioperative, Operating Theatres at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Matau a Māui Hawke's Bay, Hawkes Bay

Permanent position, rostered and rotating includes 8 and 10 shifts
1 FTE, flexible with part time hours if required
As a Registered Nurse, you will be dedicated to providing exceptional care while working collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients within our community.
Our theatre nurses put their expert relationship-building skills into practice, always demonstrating the core nursing values of patient-centred care, trust, and respect in every interaction.
Due to staff movement, we offer multiple opportunities to gain experience and exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties, including Vascular and complex Laparoscopic surgeries. Our acute Theatre runs 24/7 and we have an Orthopaedic Trauma Theatre which runs 6 days out of 7.
Education and professional development are a priority for our team. We have dedicated education time for all of our nurses. We will support and encourage you to advance in your theatre nursing career. Professionalism, care, improvement and teamwork are integral values for our department. We are looking for people with a “can do” attitude who share these values.
To apply for the role, you must have:
· Current registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand as Registered Nurse.
· Hold a current annual practising certificate as Registered Nurse.
· Hold a currently assessed nursing portfolio as assessed via an approved Profession
· Minimum 5 years of Theatre experience
