80 hours per fortnight (1 FTE)
We’re offering New Zealand registered physiotherapists the chance to get their career started with rotational positions now available at Hawke’s Bay Hospital. You will contribute to the established team currently providing assessment and treatment across the range of the general hospital wards and units, with rotations including general medical, general surgical, rehabilitation, neurology, musculoskeletal outpatients and time in ICU.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for promoting and utilising person focussed goal setting and assessment with physiotherapy interventions and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be flexible, with an ability to work autonomously and within both interprofessional and multidisciplinary styles as needed. You must hold a current Annual Practitioner Certificate
You will have access to the support of an experienced and friendly physiotherapy team, as well as the wider Allied Health network. Work-based learning including in services and supervision are encouraged. Formal CPD opportunities are supported. The Physiotherapy Professional Lead support ongoing learning and training also. Salary scale Allied health Meca step 1-4 based on experience.

Salary Range for this position is - $74,842 - $80,442 in accordance with Public, Allied and Technical Health Employee’s Multi Employer Collective Agreement (MECA) Step 1 - Step 3 according to qualifications and relevant experience pro-rated for hours worked.
