Your day-to-day:
- Lead and Innovate: Take ownership of the mobile development technical practice at Lotto NZ. Conceptualise, communicate, and deliver the mobile app future for Lotto New Zealand.
- Technical Excellence: Design, build, ship, and support native Android and iOS applications. Your strong technical leadership skills will be crucial in setting the standards.
- Mentor and Grow: Help design learning plans and pathways for our next generation of native application developers. Your guidance will shape the future talent of our team.
- Champion Standards: Focus on delivering platform-specific solutions that are standards-compliant. Advocate for best practices throughout the Digital Delivery environment.

A bit about you:
Lotto NZ is looking for a'Mobile Application Lead Developer'to join our dynamic Digital Delivery team. This is a key role where you will shape and execute our mobile application strategy, driving the future of our digital presence.
- Deep knowledge of iOS and Android development
- Excellent Swift/Kotlin (or Java/Obi-C development skills
- Experience with dependency management systems (i.e. Cocoapods/Gradle)
- Solid experience with App Store/Play Store approval and release processes
- Strong Knowledge of Mobile Application Architecture and HCI considerations
- Experience developing, deploying and managing applications in Xcode and Android Studio
- Excellent understanding of consuming and interacting with APIs and cloud services
- Experience using project and issue tracking software i.e. Jira, Confluence
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GIT'
- Outstanding communication, organisation, time management, and interpersonal skills'
