The Rotorua Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health (iCAMHS) team is based in Te Aka Mauri, the Children’s Health Hub, in the centre of the Rotorua CBD.
We are looking for clinicians to join our multi-disciplinary team, who has a passion for working with children, young people and their families.

We are growing our team with an exciting opportunity for an experienced mental health professional to help embed our new model of care Te Ara Tauwhirotanga: pathways that lead us to act with kindness. Te Ara Tauwhirotanga is the product of extensive co-design with over 400 participants from the Te Whatu Ora Lakes community, a model that clearly articulates what works for people in their recovery and healing journey. Mō koe / About you
It is essential to have an ability to connect and build trusting relationships with a wide range of people from the community. It is preferred that the successful candidate has strong mental health assessment and therapeutic intervention skills. The successful candidate should also be able to work efficiently both independently and with other clinicians in our skilled multi-disciplinary team.
Applicants must have registration, or be eligible for registration, with a NZ professional body, hold a current full clean NZ drivers licence, and meet requirements for the children’s worker safety checks.
