Are you a new graduate Anaesthetic Technician, we offer you the challenge and variety that is found within a multidisciplinary hospital setting. We also offer you the support to be able to safely navigate all elements of growing and developing your practice within Perioperative Practice.

The opportunity is to shine, develop and bring your best self to a number of different operating departments under Te Toka Tumai.
- Greenlane Surgical Unit: Our elective ambulatory surgery centre which is open Monday to Friday.
- Starship Children’s Hospital: Australasia’s leading paediatric centre.
- Our 24-hour Women’s Health operating rooms at Auckland Hospital.
- Auckland Hospital’s 24-hour Adult Accident and Emergency operating department which covers a broad range of surgical specialties.
- Our Cardiac and ORL operating department.
To be an effective member of a team that provides patient’s with empathy and comfort as part of their care plan when they are at their most vulnerable.

As a new graduate, you will enjoy your initial year of not only being involved in a multitude of complex surgical specialties, but also being comprehensively supported by the AT Training and Development team to safely navigate the new world you have entered that is the Perioperative Environment.

- Tertiary Qualification (Anaesthetic Technology)
- Registered Anaesthetic Technician with Medical Sciences Council NZ
- Current annual practising certificate
