We are looking for an Advisor to join our Operational Policy Team, working in the Housing Supports and Supply branch in the Policy group. You will get the chance to work on high-profile and challenging projects which are key priorities for this Government.
You will part of a highly motivated and collaborative team who work across the organisation and with other Government agencies to deliver top-quality operational policy and service design. Our work programme focusses on delivering on key Government targets and developing advice and operational policies to address housing needs that arise from issues within the housing and urban system and broader social sector. As a team we have a focus on delivering high quality work in a supportive and fun way, and we are committed to your development.
The work is varied and can include providing Ministers with advice and updates on delivery and implementation of key initiatives through to engaging with sector bodies on what is working on the ground.

This role would suit a person who thrives in a dynamic and challenging work environment. You will have:
- Experience in policy or operational policy. As an Advisor, you will have supported the design and implementation of large-scale projects or initiatives
- A good understanding of operating in a government context and an environment where being flexible, adaptable, and agile is key
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), and a track record of working effectively with and maintaining the trust of colleagues and external stakeholders
- Experience in working collaboratively across teams and organisations

The salary range for this role is $73,946 - $90,378 + 3% Kiwisaver contribution.
